My love affair with photography began early on - before middle school - and has only grown.  In college, at Elon University, my passion behind the camera came to use in my journalism courses, and lead to a focus in photo-journalism.  A love for fashion guided my shutter finger towards a desire to design my own "editorial" shoots.  And today, I like to think I do a bit of everything; Landscape, macro, portrait, editorial, and documentary work.

And of course, as an infatuated mother, you will see my amazing son Miles has now been the subject of many photo-adventures.

Enjoy.

"The arts are not a way of making a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."
Kurt Vonnegut, A Man Without a Country, 2005
